大家早安(台灣)也晚安(美國)
今天要來分享一首歌曲：True Colors
因為今天上課剛好用到這首，也覺得很有意義，就錄下來了
最近因為一位警察執法過當誤殺一位黑人，導致黑人歧視問題又被搬上檯面，也造成很大的動盪
黑人歧視一直都是美國很大的問題。而種族歧視問題也都在世界各地發生。
有鑒於最近發生的事情，昨天就收到公司同事的Email，說今天的課(小孩年齡層2-6歲)要講到differences(差異)和similarities(相似)，問我可不可以彈這首 True Colors，並且講我的原生家庭和文化。我當然欣然接受的答應了。覺得樂意之至。因為教育就是要從小開始，尤其是一些觀念的建立。
所以今天的課上，我們講了一本“We're Different, We're the Same (我們不一樣；但我們也都一樣)“的故事。我們跟學生說到：我們膚色不同、我們長相不同、我們母語和文化不同；但是我們其實也都相同。而也因為這些不同，造就了我們的特別。
在那堂課中，我們也讓大家分享了各自不同的種族(像我那位同事的爸爸是英國人，媽媽是義大利人) 和除了英文外的第二語言。可能也因為在紐約的關係，這邊小孩除了英文外，大部分都有第二語言，因為他們的爸爸媽媽從不同國家來的比例非常高。這也造就了他們更能理解文化及種族差異性。當然今天我也講到了台灣。驚訝的是，原來大部分小孩們都知道台灣！也有一些小孩去過台灣呢！覺得欣慰
這堂課結束後反響不小，也覺得很開心能給小朋友這麼有意義的一堂課。
